death valley

Death Valley National Park is a marvellous piece of nature. It is harsh, vast, scorching hot, dry, and most of all very beautiful. Being there in summertime is something you'll never forget, although I also enjoyed my visit in spring - I was just to late to see the springflowers. I especially like the erosion areas and the multicoloured parts. You may enjoy my photos of places like Zabriskie Point, Twenty Mule Team Canyon, Artists Drive and Palette.

Within Death valley is America's lowest point, 85,5 meters below sealevel. This area, Badwater, is a vast saltplain with a small pond and tiny fish.
