The southern part of Utah is packed with majestic nature, lots of it protected in National Parks.
Zion Canyon is different than the others in the way that it is morer mountainous with more water.
The Virgin River flows through Zion Canyon and on a higher altitude you can find weeping rocks and many small pools.
In the eastern part of Zion is Checkerboard Mesa, a real desert mesa showing the transition in landscape towards the Colorado Plateau.
