The Villages is, as far as I know, the largest master planned community for senior citizens in the United States.
It calls itself America's friendliest hometown, and has over 50.000 residents now, growing up to a possible 100.000.
The Villages is an energetic place, with active people, even in their old days.
Important in The Villages are stories.
And while, as a new area development, they have no stories of their own, they create them.
Most aware are the stories in the City Centers, Lake Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs.
Here you can see things like sunken boats in newly dug lakes and old, forgotten wagons from pioneer times.
Fake? Yes. Interesting? Yes. Fake? Maybe not.
