rotterdam

Rotterdam is the largest harbour in the world and a real labour city. In Rotterdam I've made photos in different places like the north and south banks of the Maas River, and the new Erasmusbridge spanning the Maas. Among my photos from the downtown area of Rotteram are the Weena, the Blaakse Bos with the cubic Houses and the Schouwburgplein. From the southern part of Rotteram are the Kiefhoek, which was an architectural highlight in the 1920s social housing projects. Further more a large series comes from the Tarwewijk, and the area just around along the Maashaven. More uptown are Carnisselande, a new town from the late 1990s that is still in development, the Veranda, Botlek and DWL. You may see the contrasts with the older Rotterdam quarters.
