I think Monument Valley is the typical western image man will have from the southwest.
While the Navajo tribal park crosses the Arizona-Utah border I divided my special in these two parts.

The most wellknown part is Mystery Valley, being a great place with both East and West Mitten Buttes and Merrick Butte as the monumental volumes.
In the backcountry are the Three Sisters, the Totempole and various natural arches, to name a few highlights of theis magnificent area.
