Montpellier is a very charming city. It is quite clear why this southern France city is the fastest growing city in the country.
It has lots of history, many beautiful squares such as Place de la Comédie, lots of terraces, cafés and restaurants all around.
Just off Place de la Comédie are Polygone and Antigone (Nombre d'Or, Millenaire), a development primaly shaped by Bofill somewhere in the 1980s.
Although one can see that management could be better here, it still is an interesting site to see, considering the aims to make Versailles palaces for the common man.
