Pudong, east river, is the new economic heart of Shanghai.
Developed within about ten years from farmland to a highrise city with over one million inhabitants and workers.
Here in Pudong are at least two of the new attractions of Shanghai, the Jin Mao and Oriental Pearl Towers.
These are the new symbols where people like to get photographed with.
The latter one is in my special on Lujiazu, the Jin Mao is to be found right here.
Apart from the height of the tower, the atrium within the Hyatt hotel is quite spectecular.
