This chapter focusses on the eastern streets and avenues in the Loop, Chicago's downtown. You can view photos of, roughly, the area in between Michigan Avenue and First National Bank Plaza just off State. It's an area with lots of highrise buildings, although in my eyes the most fascinating object here is the loop-train, the subway that rolls on the second level through streets like Wabash and Madison. Photos of the western downtown streets are to be found in the Loop-West chapter, photos on the northern parts of Wacker Drive and Michigan Avenue in the chapters on Chicago River and Northbridge.
