Zhujiajiao is one of the watervillages in the western delta landscape of Shanghai.
The contrast with the main city couldn't be larger.
Here in Zhujiajiao it's a kind of small Venice of the east, with a river and canals being the main focus in the village and the main structure.
It's a great place to stroll around, crossing the bridges, of witch the five-arched Fangsheng is the largest, and enjoy the waterviews.
