Xujiahui is in the south of Shanghai.
It's a relative new development in the way that it's a hub for the area, with a large new shopping area, subway connections and a diverse streetlife.
In between the new developments many small and older quarters still are visible. Maybe next year these quarters will be demolished as well.
So take a look at the longtang chapter to see how Shanghai looked yesterday.
