Tuscany (Toscana) probably is the most Italian of all Italian regions. It has it all. It may also be the most heavily visited of the regions.
People come to see the roman and medieval artworks, the lush mountains or the blue sea. And of course the cultural landscape, made by landlords and farmers with an eye for beauty and scale.
Especcially the series Misty Valley, Rolling Hills, La Foce and Val d'Orcia cover the cultural landscapes.
Tuscany has beautiful cities, small and large. Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Massa Marittima and Montalcino are some of these.
Bagno Vignoni is a village that has ancient roman baths and a villagesquare that is a swimming pool as well.
