Tiantan, the Temple of Heaven, is a beautiful Park in southern central Beijing.
In the morning local Beijing people flock together to perform dances, to play games or to make music. Or to watch others do so.
And all that amidst sixhundred years of history.
During my last visit, Qiniandian, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest and the architectural highlight in the Park, was being restored, and sadly not open for public.
So in this small special it's mainly the people of Beijing that give the place it's most wonderful impression.
