Den Haag, or The hague, is the government sit in the Netherlands and the place where the queen has her Residency.
To me, De Haag is a special place while it is the only larger Dutch city that combines a lively center with the presence of the Northsea, dunes and a sandy beach.
What you can see in thses specials are, among others, government building such as the Binnenhof, photos of the citycenter, with the City Hall by architect Richard Meier,
the new tranway tunnel underneath the Grote Marktstraat, the mixed office and housing area The Resident,
the new shopping mall Haagsche Bluf and the historic Passage.
Also I've put some photos of the central housingcomplex Zwarte Madonna (Black Madonna because of its outside colour).
This complex is about to be demolished later this year. Two series are made during a street music festival in june.
I hope it shows the combination of passion and concentration.
