The Old Town is the area just south from the new Puxi center along Nanjing Road.
Most striking are the Yuyuan Gardens right in the center of the Old Town.
Around the gardens is the Yuyuan Bazaar, that houses many shops and boutiques in old and old style buildings.
Fangbang Zhonglu is the main shopping street here.
Within the bazaar are a few temples such as the Temple of the Town Gods.
In this series I've also put some photos of the Longhua Temple, maybe the most beautiful of all Shanghai temples.
Longhua is not in the Old Town, but nearby, and showing a similar atmosphere as do the Yuyuan Gardens.
