croatia

The Istrian coastline is one of the most touristic places in Croatia. being there in summer isn't what you would call a relaxed place targeted to rest and quietness. But it's a nice place to visit some beuatiful old towns of Venetian heritage and to see the sun set in the Adriatic Sea.

Both Rovinj and Porec are nicely laid out small towns on the sea and worth visiting. Also in both towns there are beautiful churches and both Rovinj and Porec do have small streets and alleys with sometimes surprisingly nice facades. Apart from the towns there's Limski Kanal, a beautiful seabranch with turqoise coloured waters in the midst of green forest.

Although not in Istria, I added two photos of the Plitvice national park in this series. I may replace them some later.
