The Northwest of Italy is naturally and culturally very diverse.
The landscapes vary greatly, from the high Alp mountains in the north to the plains of the Po river in the south.
In this small series I've only selected a few photos from both Aosta and Piemonte. From Aosta province there are Aosta town and the Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain.
From Piemonte there are the village of Re and the town of Cannobio, along the Lago Maggiore.
