This series in my New York Special has photos from the harbour of New York.
This is one of the more touristic areas with the Statue of Liberty being the wellknown symbol of the metropole.
Apart form Liberty Island, there is Ellis Island, showing the history of immigration in the words and faces of the once pioneers.
This is also the place to see the skyline, and the changes from september 2001. A few of my photos are made prior to that day.
