Just outside Las Vegas the world is different.
Here are lots of barren and painted desert landscapes to enjoy.
This series has a few settlements and some desert scenery, such as ghosttown Rhyolite, the new town of sun City Anthem and Amargosa Valley, just a stop down the road.
More to the south there is Lake Mead, bordering Arizona. Towards the California border is Pahrump, with lonely highways leading to Death valley National Park.
