shanghai - lujiazu - lujiazu

Pudong, east river, and its center Lujiazu, is the new economic heart of Shanghai. Developed within about ten years from farmland to a highrise city with over one million inhabitants and workers. Here in Pudong are at least two of the new attractions of Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl and Jin Mao Towers. These are the new symbols where people like to get photographed with. The latter one is in my special on Jin Mao, the Oriental Pearl is to be found right here. More to the east is the Maglev Magnet Levitation Train, with it's maximum speed at about 430 km per hour the fastest train in the world. Sadly the track is only some 35 km long.
