This series in my New York Special has photos from the three villages in between Downtown and Midtown: Greenwich Village, Little Italy and Chinatown.
From Greenwich Village most photos show Washington Square, more or less the focal point, Carmine and Christopher streets.
Apart from Greenwich Village, Little italy and Chinatown I've added photos from the area around Union Square.
