I've entitled this chapter in my Netherlands series red in green,
because Gelderland is a province of lots of green and water, with many, some historic, cities and villages within.
Also the countries largest National Park, Hoge Veluwe, is here, as well as the widest rivers Rhine and Maas.
From Gelderland you van view historic Elburg and Buren and the empty innercity site of Hessenberg in Nijmegen, where within some years new construction will take place.
From Arnhem I've added photos from a more or less forgotten place just accross the Rhine from the center.
In Didam I shot some ostriches at the local farm.
