The capital of China is a fascinating city, also in the evening when artificial lights make the atmosphere.
It's not like Shanghai where the lights make up a fantasyworld, but it has its own charm.
In this series you can see photos of Tian'anmen Square as well as from Chang'an Road that runs along the Forbidden City.
Besides there are photos from Xidan Avenue and Plaza, a vivid neighbourhood directed for shopping.
To conclude this series I've added a few photos from a house-restaurant down in the hutongs.
Local people prepare the food here for tourists that like to get a little more into the hutong-life.
