I live in Europe, but to me it's not clear where Central Europe starts or ends. And it doesn't matter much really because in any way it's a diverse area, cultural and natural and it has felt many changes in power over the last 30 centuries. In my opinion the Alps, the mountains, are part of Central Europe, although the mountain range stretches far westward as well. These series of photos may show no coherence, as the region in a way does to me. Large parts still show the influence by the Habsburger families, but other do have a distinctive high mountain flavour. From the south comes the mediterranean spirit.
